Google started selling a glow-in-the-dark Android figure recently, but with a hefty added cost for shipping. Now, Dead Zebra has also opened up sales, and it’s much more affordable.
The glow-in-the-dark Android figure that recently went on sale via the Google Merchandise Store is produced by Dead Zebra, and uses the same updated design as the figure Google started selling earlier this year. Through Google’s store, the figure costs $21 – up from the $18 cost of the regular one – and has a base shipping cost of $9.50, making the figure cost over $30 after tax.
But, thankfully, things are a whole lot cheaper directly through Dead Zebra.
There, the figure is just $14, the same price as the standard figure, and costs around $6-7 for shipping, a grand total of less than the figure’s cost through Google’s store.
The figure itself, which we’ve now had for a bit, doesn’t glow particularly long or brightly, but it’s a fun collectible certainly.
