Following a Google One deal a few days ago, Play Points members can get a 30% discount towards the Pixel 9, 9 Pro, and 9 Pro XL.
To find this “Special Offer from Pixel,” head to Google Play on your phone, open the Play Points page, and then the Perks tab.

Worked for me with Play Gold. 9 Pro 128GB is $999 - $299. Trading in my 8 Pro will provide a $35 net owed, but then Google One Benefit is $70 so they're paying me to upgrade. I did the same thing last year with the 8 Pro. Lesson: always wait a month or two, unless the launch bonus like Google Store Credit is valuable to you. This way you don't pay anything to upgrade every year.
You can “Claim” a discount code that can be entered during Google Store checkout of a Pixel 9, 9 Pro, or 9 Pro XL. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is unfortunately excluded.
This discount code expires 12/02/2024 at 11:59 p.m. PT and “while supplies last.” Google Play Points Gold members and above are seeing this offer. Officially, it is “Open to select participants based on their purchase history” and “Eligible for 1 device per customer.”

This 30% discount code does not stack with any other Pixel 9 offers, but you can trade-in a device as usual: “Promotional code cannot be combined with other promotional codes or offers and is not transferable.”
This offer will presumably surpass the Google Store Black Friday deals.
