Are there enough premium Pixel accessories? [Poll]

Do we have enough “premium” accessories for the Google Pixel lineup? With increasing prominence, growing sales, and people making the switch, are third-party accessory makers letting the team down?

With just about any smartphone, there will be a fairly robust selection of official cases, accessories, chargers, and extras. To Google’s credit, the official case lineup for the Pixel 9, 9 Pro, and 9 Pro XL has come on leaps and bounds since the Pixel 6’s woeful cases. We’re not complaining about the lack of official cases – those are plentiful and, although expensive, are not a bad option to pair with your phone.

I’ve personally covered a ton of accessories for the Pixel 9 series – including the Fold – and while you can find good cases, covers, screen protectors, and whatnot, we’re missing options in the “premium” sector. There are very few high-end accessory companies making tailored options for the Pixel series. Period.

This extends beyond smartphones, too. There aren’t many high-end accessories for the Pixel Tablet or Pixel Watch, either. In just about any store, you’ll find a luxury brand offering something to pair with an iPhone and, in many cases, the Samsung Galaxy line. For Pixel? Not so much.

Here’s the deal: A robust ecosystem of premium accessories can significantly enhance a smartphone’s overall value proposition. It allows users to personalize their devices, improve functionality, and elevate the overall user experience. I’d love to see Nomad make cases and accessories for the Pixel 9 and Pixel Watch.

Do you think there are enough premium accessories for the Pixel lineup? One glance at the Google Store, and you’d probably agree. Maybe we’re missing out on some brands that offer high-end options and quality to match. Use the survey below to let us know, and leave a comment on some brands you’d love to see offering accessories for Google hardware.
