If you’ve been looking to get a new Wear OS smartwatch, Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 7 is already one of the best values you’ll find, but an ongoing trade-in offer combined with Cyber Monday deals makes the smartwatch practically free compared to its usual pricing.
Samsung has been heavily relying on trade-in deals to get users to upgrade to the company’s latest products, and it often makes for an enticing deal. Right now, Samsung has the Galaxy Watch 7, normally sold for $299 and up, automatically discounted to a starting price of $239.99. There are no strings attached there, just a solid deal for Black Friday/Cyber Monday.
The kicker is that trade-in deals still apply.
Through Samsung.com, you can get the Galaxy Watch 7 with up to $200 off with several smartwatch trade-in options, taking the cost down to just $39.99.
Smartwatch trades that deliver the full $200 value include Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, as well as just about any recent Apple Watch release. You can also get $150 for Galaxy Watch 5, Watch 5 Classic, and more. Some users, presumably with the addition of student or other discounts Samsung offers, have been able to get the price down below $5 over the past few days. It’s unclear if that same offer is still available, but we’ve not been able to replicate it as of 12/2.
Of course, this is only with the 40mm Galaxy Watch 7, as upgrading to the 44mm version comes at a cost of about $30 extra.
Samsung has similarly huge discounts available on the Galaxy Watch Ultra, with the retail price being slashed from $649 down to $489, while trade-in offers can bring that price all the way down to $189 with select smartwatch trades.
Both devices are also accepting trade-ins for “any smartwatch” in “any condition” with $100 towards Watch 7 and $150 off of Watch Ultra.
