AAWireless TWO is finally easy to buy as the original goes away for good

The latest wireless Android Auto adapter, AAWireless TWO, is finally easy to purchase over two months after it first launched, while the original version is officially no longer available.

The first AAWireless adapter launched in 2021, bringing support for wireless Android Auto to anyone with a vehicle that supported a wired version. The product was one of the best on the market, but was met with plenty of competition in the form of Motorola MA1 and many cheaper alternatives.

After questions arose regarding the future of the first AAWireless, it’s now been confirmed that the adapter is no longer available, as was mentioned by one of the company’s founders on Reddit. Production on the original has ended, and it seems stock has also gone away at this point, as the adapter has been out of stock on Amazon for a while now, and was removed entirely from the AAWireless website. We first reported on the device going out of stock in November, but it resurfaced a few times in the weeks since.

This comes as stock for AAWireless TWO has finally stabilized over on Amazon.

While the adapter isn’t readily available for Prime shipping yet, we’ve been tracking stock for a few weeks now and it’s been consistently available for purchase with 7-10 day shipping. We’d expect Prime to become available sometime in the next month or two as stock is further built up. Even if not, the current state of availability far surpasses the product’s first month or two on the market, where customers had to act fast to actually place an order.

Sometime in the first few months of 2025, AAWireless TWO+ will also be launching with support for CarPlay, the one feature that the original adapter supports, but the currently-available sequel does not.
