Pebblebee ‘Link’ QR code stickers make it easier to return lost items, starting at $8.99

Pebblebee, known for its item trackers for Android and Apple finder networks, is kicking off 2025 with the launch of “Link,” a new item tracking system that will help you find lost items by making it easier for someone to return your lost item.

Often when you’re trying to prevent an item from being lost forever, you’ll put your phone number or email address on the item. And while that works well enough, it limits what you can do to get that item back from someone. Pebblebee’s vision for Link is to allow someone to put a lot more information onto their item before it gets lost, and give the person who finds it more tools to help.

In its most basic description, Pebblebee Link is just a set of QR code stickers.

Pebblbee explains:

Designed for durability, compatibility and privacy, Link allows anyone with a phone to help return any item to their rightful owner. Integrating physical QR codes with privacy-centric and location-based digital technologies, Pebblebee Link is a dishwasher-safe, scratch-resistant and residue-free Label designed for items that don’t require constant monitoring, perfect for household items, small electronics, tools and outdoor gear.

So how does this help you get a lost item back?

In a demo at CES 2025, Pebblebee showed how users can “claim” the individual QR codes through Pebblebee’s app and can then set the information that someone sees when they scan the code, such as contact details or a reward message. The person who finds the item scans the code and sees that message, and is also presented with options to share their location, contact details, and more.

Pebblebee Link will be available starting in March starting at $8.99 for a 5-pack, $19.99 for a 20-pack, and $27.99 for a 30-pack, with the last option being available in retail stores eventually as well.

What do you think of Link?
