Samsung opens up free reserve slots for the Galaxy S25 series; how to sign up

Samsung is starting to get things rolling for the release of the Galaxy S25 series. This year, the Galaxy S25 lineup should offer some really nice enhancements and improvements to a line that has proven it’s a strong Android option. With the reserve campaign live, here’s how you can sign up.

What is Samsung’s Galaxy Reserve program?

For the past couple of years, Samsung has been taking a different approach to pre-orders. The new Galaxy Reserve program allows users to sign up for free to get on a list of reserved slots. That signup means that you’ll get an instant credit that can be used when you decide to buy the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, or Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The program also allows users who are undecided about upgrading their devices. We always suggest signing up for the reserve program even if you plan on sticking to your current device. That way, you’ll have the credit if Samsung ends up offering really good trade-in deals, which is likely. Samsung tends to boost trade-in offers quite a bit during new device launches.

Samsung’s Galaxy Reserve program is always free, and this year, the company is offering a $50 credit for those who reserve along with an entry into a sweepstakes to win $5,000. This credit can be combined with trade-in offers during the pre-order period.

The Galaxy S25 could be a moderate upgrade

We’ve seen a lot of leaks make the rounds before the actual launch, which isn’t for a couple of weeks. According to those leaks, the Galaxy S25 series will take on a slightly different design, with the Ultra sporting thinner bezels and each phone taking on larger amounts of material around the camera lenses. This is similar to what the Galaxy Z Fold 6 did in its camera design.

It’s also been reported that the Galaxy S25 series will have faster wireless charging, which might have something to do with Qi2, but it’s hard to say at this point. The phones might see an increase to 25W wireless charging, which is a big jump.

On top of that, Samsung has really enhanced its color offering, bringing more vibrant colorways to the series instead of the somewhat drab looks of last year.

While the phones aren’t expected to be massive upgrades, the small enhancements and a better SoC positioned for AI is a solid change.

How to sign up and reserve a spot

As mentioned, reserving a spot in the Galaxy Reserve program is free, even if you don’t plan on getting an S25.

  1. Head to Samsung’s Galaxy Reserve page.
  2. Enter your information and submit.

The process is extremely straightforward and results in a $50 credit during the pre-order period, which is nice to have on hand. Not to mention, you’ll also be entered to win $5,000 in Samsung’s sweepstakes competition.
