Lenovo’s small yet powerful Legion Tab looks to be an Android tablet many have been waiting for, as it sold out in barely two days. One question about the device has been whether or not it supports stylus input, and we can confirm that the Lenovo Legion Tab does support at least one stylus option.
Announced at CES 2025, the Lenovo Legion Tab is an 8.8-inch Android tablet focused on gaming, and packed with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 12GB of RAM. For many, it could serve as a perfect iPad Mini replacement, but one question was whether or not the Legion Tab would support stylus input.
The good news is that yes, it does.
The Legion Tab officially supports Lenovo’s Tab Pen Plus, available for $49.99 through Lenovo’s website or Amazon. This is the same stylus that was supported on prior versions of the Legion Tab that have been sold in markets outside of the United States, and it also works on other Lenovo tablets as well. The Tab Pen Plus charges via USB-C and has some software perks such as a floating notepad, handwriting input, magnifier, and more.
The unfortunate thing is that this is the only stylus that works with this tablet. There’s no USI 2.0 support, and third-party options don’t appear to be widely available either.
There’s also no mounting option on the tablet itself, though the included case does firmly grab the stylus and hold it in place on the back. Charging works through USB-C only.
Those looking to bundle the tablet with the pen can score $20 off with a coupon that appears on Lenovo’s website and offers $20 off of purchases of $500 or more. Currently, the Legion Tab is out of stock, but early buyers can still pick up a stylus after the fact through Lenovo or Amazon.
