OnePlus Watch 3 release date delayed to April 2025

Announced earlier this month and originally set for a release date of today, the OnePlus Watch 3 has officially been delayed to April 2025.

The OnePlus Watch 3 delivers several welcome upgrades to the brand’s smartwatch, including even longer battery life than the previous generation and better health tracking. It’s been a solid device in our testing thus far – stay tuned for a forthcoming review – but you’ll now be waiting a few weeks to get it on your wrist.

OnePlus has pushed back the release date of the Watch 3, originally set for today, February 25, to sometime in “April 2025.”

This is due to the recent discovery of a typo on the hardware of the OnePlus Watch 3 which said that the smartwatch was “Meda in China.”

OnePlus explains in a press release:

Global technology brand OnePlus today announced that the open sales date for the highly anticipated OnePlus Watch 3, initially set for February 25, 2025, has been postponed until April 2025.

The delay comes as a result of a minor typographical error identified below the watch face, which the company is addressing with a new batch. Pre-orders for the corrected device will continue from February 25.

Pre-orders will remain open alongside the $30 discount that OnePlus has been offering to early buyers. For customers that do receive a “Meda in China” version of the OnePlus Watch 3, returns are available “without question.”

OnePlus has also teased upcoming variants of the Watch that include LTE and a smaller size.
