Just two days out from Unpacked, it’s time for yet another foldables leak from Samsung. This time, though, we could be looking at at least one surprising detour from previous rumors.
This latest leak comes courtesy of Roland Quandt of WinFuture, who shared specs tables for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip 7 FE on his Bluesky account. Quandt’s first post — seemingly from a press release or similar marketing materials — is focused entirely on the Fold 7, confirming an 8.9mm chassis that unfolds to just 4.2mm. Perhaps even more exciting is its weight; at 216 grams, Samsung’s latest big-screen foldable actually weighs less than the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Other leaked specs for the Fold 7 include, of course, the pairing of a 6.5-inch exterior display and an 8-inch main panel, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite. Unfortunately, we don’t get much in the way of camera specifics — a 200MP main sensor is all the detail included — while the 4,000mAh battery continues Samsung’s long tradition of skimping out on larger capacities. Finally, while this specs sheet doesn’t list the 1TB model, Quandt confirms in a follow-up post that it’s a regional difference, and not an incorrect detail.
While the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Flip 7 FE’s specs look fairly commonplace at first glance — especially since this leak doesn’t include processor details for either, leaving one of our last remaining questions about these devices yet again unanswered — there’s one pretty surprising point here: screen size. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Flip 7 FE have identically-sized 6.9-inch main and 4.1-inch exterior panels, according to this specs table, which flies in the face of most of our previous leaks regarding Samsung’s budget foldable.

Considering those leaks include seemingly-final renders showcasing the older folder-style display design from the Flip 5 and Flip 6, I’m inclined to assume it’s this table — and not those previous reports — that includes incorrect data. Still, we could be in for a surprise come Wednesday. If Samsung does decide to use full-screen displays on both of its clamshells, it would undercut the choices made for Motorola’s cheaper Razr series immediately. At the very least, this table seems to confirm the Flip 7 FE is only launching in black and white.
Either way, we’re less than 48 hours away from a full reveal. Unpacked kicks off Wednesday, July 9th at 10am ET, and time’s running out to get your name on the reservation list. There’s no cost, no obligation, and you’ll receive a $50 credit when you pre-order that can go towards accessories or other devices, including the Galaxy Watch 8. All that, plus 3x reward points, up to $1,150 in savings, and the chance to win $5,000 in credit.
