Amazon just undercut its own Black Friday price on Echo Spot, now down at $45 (44% off)
We, naturally, caught a number of notable deals on Amazon Echo smart speakers and displays for Black Friday, including the first discounts on the new high-end Studio and Max models. But Amazon just put the Echo Spot with the onboard animated display on sale once again, and now it’s $5 less than it was last week. Amazon is offering all three colors of its Echo Spot smart speaker down at $44.99 shipped. This is a regular $80 Alexa speaker now seeing a solid 44% price drop for the lowest price we can find.
While it has introduced the new Echo Studio and Echo Dot Max models at the top end of the lineup with even better sound reproduction, it’s going to cost you at least $100 to nab one of those right now. For me, the Spot delivers the right balance between sound quality, smart features, and technical prowess (I am a big fan of the sort of basic but totally welcomed animated display here) for the price, amounting in a great little kitchen and nightstand speaker option.
Best Buy Week 1 Holiday Doorbuster: Save $710 on Lenovo’s RTX 5070 Legion 7i OLED gaming laptop
As part of its now live 3-Day sale event, Best Buy is offering a bunch of new Doorbuster deals to deliver fresh lows on Apple gear, Smart TVs, and more. It’s also offering Lenovo’s Legion 7i OLED gaming laptop with an RTX 5070 GPU for $1,599.99 shipped.
