The new Android Auto & CarPlay adapter, AAWireless TWO+, has gone out of stock not long after its launch on Amazon, but the Android Auto-only model is still discounted in the meantime.
AAWireless was the first wireless adapter for using Android Auto in a vehicle that was only equipped for wired operation, and the sequel that launched late last year offered some welcome upgrades such as a button. But it was the most recent AAWireless TWO+ that formally launched the anticipated support for using the same adapter for both Android Auto and CarPlay.
As it stands today, it seems AAWireless TWO+ has been rather popular.
The dongle hit Amazon in late November and, despite never getting a discount over Black Friday, it’s still managed to go out of stock. You can still buy it through the AAWireless website, though.
That said, if you were hoping to pick one of these adapters up for the holidays or just in general, you can still get the Android Auto-only version at a discount. It’s fully in stock at Amazon and sold for $55, a $10 discount from the CarPlay-compatible model.
