UGreen’s Qi2 25W wireless charger is a perfectly portable Pixel 10 travel dock [Gallery]

There are literally countless Qi2 charging docks available for the Pixel 10 series, each one with a different type of use case. One that I’ve been testing out lately is from UGreen, with the company’s Qi2 25W 3-in-1 “Magflow” dock being a perfect portable Qi2 dock for Pixel 10.

The UGreen Qi2 25W Magflow charger is a 3-in-1 charging dock. It has a magnetic Qi2 25W charging ring at the top which folds out on an arm to reveal a second wireless charging pad for earbuds inside. There’s also an additional USB-C out port for charging up another device.

This combination of features isn’t all that uncommon, but this particular form factor stood out to me.

First and foremost, the compact size folds up to be a simple little cube. You can place a Pixel 10 on top, or unfold the top section to angle the device towards you. The design here is simple, but clever, allowing for the charger to keep a fair compact size in your travel bag without sacrificing utility. I’d say this also takes it a step above the Belkin charger I reviewed earlier this year, which really only supports one angle for the device.

Something else that makes this one stand out over the Belkin is the weight. The base portion is hefty, not to the point it affects the portability, but just enough to where I’m not struggling to break the phone free of the magnetic attraction. That attention to detail continues through the charger, where the Qi2 pad is a slightly grippy rubber material.

There are some notable downsides, as with anything. The USB-C out is limited to 5W, just like Belkin’s, meaning it’s very slow for some devices. It seems to work fine with my Pixel Watch 4 despite Google’s stated 7.5W minimum, but your results may vary. The other big downside in my book, and another reason I like that Belkin option so much, is that there’s no charging adapter in the box. If you don’t have a spare 45W charging adapter available – something not everyone does – it makes the $50 price tag a little harder to accept.

Despite that, though, I’m overall a fan. This charging dock is so easy to slip into a bag while traveling, and fits just as well on a desk or nightstand for day-to-day use.

The UGreen Qi2 25W Magflow charger is available on Amazon alongside the rest of the company’s lineup of Qi2 accessories.
