The Pixel 10a is set to go up for pre-order starting tomorrow, but if you’re impatient, you don’t need to wait long to learn all about the phone. In addition to yesterday’s leaked specs sheet, we’re also getting a look at a leaked ad that paints Google’s budget phone as an affordable do-everything device.
As shared by WinFuture‘s Roland Quandt on Bluesky, this 24-second spot paints a pretty complete picture about how Google wants consumers to view its next device. This ad sees the Pixel 10a getting Camera Coach (or, in French, Coach photo), a feature previously exclusive to the Pixel 10 series that utilizes AI to help teach rookie photographers how to better capture an image. That’s a curious addition, considering the RAM and CPU constraints seemingly offered by the Pixel 10a, and makes you wonder whether other Tensor G4 phones — namely, the Pixel 9 and 9a — will get the same toolset moving forward.
The second feature highlighted is a little more straightforward, as Google promotes “at least” 30 hours of battery on a single charge. We also get a quick glimpse of the Pixel 10a in all four of its colors, including that ultra-vibrant Berry and greenish-hued Fog, before finally promising this experience as more affordable than before.
Nothing too shocking here, but then again, this device doesn’t appear to be built to shock anyone anyway. Google’s next budget-friendly device will make its full debut, specs sheet and all, sometime tomorrow, February 18th. Considering how much we know about this phone though, I have to imagine most would-be buyers aren’t waiting for an official reveal — they’re waiting for an “Add to Cart” button.
