Some Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy users have been running into problems with Android Auto as of late, but fixes are now rolling out, Google says.
Various user reports have surfaced over the past couple of weeks, signalling a spike in connection problems. The bulk of problems have been found on Google Pixel devices and Samsung Galaxy devices. Some have also noticed problems with Android Auto saying the device needs to be unlocked to start the connection with your car.
It’s understandably frustrating, and it seems to affect both wired and wireless connections.
Google is on the case, though.
Speaking to Android Authority, Google has confirmed that it is aware of ongoing problems and that “fixes are beginning to roll out.” The cause remains unclear, though many Pixel owners speculate the March update could be to blame.
