Lenovo has ended sales of its Legion Tab (Gen 3) ahead of an upgrade and, in turn, more expensive sequel, while also issuing price hikes to its entire family of Android tablets.
The ongoing RAM/storage crisis has sent shockwaves through the entire tech industry, and even Lenovo as one of the biggest tech companies is not immune. Lenovo warned earlier this year that it would raise prices on some of its products throughout March 2026 and, as it turns out, that includes its entire lineup of Android tablets.
Of the dozen Android tablets Lenovo currently sells, every single one has seen at least a minor price bump. The folks over at PhoneArena first spotted these changes on Lenovo’s US store. We’ve not been able to corroborate all of the original prices – archive data, especially for retail sites, can be spotty at best – but most of these do line up with prior press releases and our own coverage. In fact, based on our findings, this isn’t even the first price hike for some of these tablets. Lenovo Idea Tab Pro was originally supposed to be $349, for example.
- Lenovo Tab One: originally $149.99 – now $179.99
- Lenovo Idea Tab: originally $229.99 – now $289.99
- Idea Tab Plus: originally $299.99 – now $329.99
- Idea Tab Pro: originally $389.99 – now $419.99
- Lenovo Yoga Tab: originally $549.99 – now $619.99
- Yoga Tab Plus: originally $769.99 – now $799.99
Lenovo tablets are very often discounted, but it’s quite notable to see the prices raised as a whole.
Beyond those price hikes, though, Lenovo has one other interesting change to its tablet lineup as of late.
In the past few weeks, the Lenovo Legion Tab (Gen 3) has been removed from sale on the company’s website. It’s now listed as “Available Soon” which is a common placeholder for a product that’s either not yet available or being removed from Lenovo’s website. It signals that the company is preparing for the launch of Lenovo Legion Tab (Gen 5) which was announced at MWC 2026 earlier this year.
The loss of the Gen 3 model is actually quite significant, as the latest version comes with a major price hike to $849 (assuming that doesn’t go up by the time it actually launches). Having a lesser, but more affordable model would have been nice, especially seeing as Lenovo never brought this tablet to third-party retailers.
