Like the Gemini app, Google AI Mode is also seeing a redesign of its prompt box, while the tool can now book restaurants for users internationally.
Instead of a pop-up menu on mobile (which matches the web interface), AI Mode is switching to a bottom sheet.
There are very large buttons for Gallery and Camera. “Tools” is the next section, with “Create images” being the only one available on mobile. The “Gemini 3 models” switcher is last with Auto or Pro.
Appearing on Android and iOS, this interface is still rolling out to the stable channel.
Old vs. new

Meanwhile, Google announced today that AI Mode’s agentic dining capability that can book restaurants for you is now expanding beyond the US. It’s available in 8 new markets: Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, and the UK.
In your prompt, just specify the time, location, cuisine, party size, or even vibes you’re looking for. AI Mode will then look through multiple reservation platforms (with local partnerships) and websites to find bookable options. Examples include:
“Find a table for two at a dog-friendly Italian restaurant in Shoreditch for Saturday at 7 p.m.” “Find me a sushi restaurant nearby that has a table for four that also serves vegan tempura.”
This is rolling out in AI Mode, with no Labs opt-in required.
