Wallet trackers might be the most useful devices you can use with Android’s Find Hub network, and KeySmart’s new option has twice the battery life of many others.
The new KeySmart SmartCard Pro builds on the standard SmartCard that launched earlier this year. It supports the same dual-network support for Apple Find My and Android Find Hub (just not at the same time), Bluetooth tracking, and more.
So what’s new?
KeySmart is equipping this latest release with the Atlas Gen 3 chipset which should improve performance greatly. The new tracker has “50% faster compute,” which essentially means that it should be recognized by nearby devices more quickly, including when you tap the button to make the tracker start sounding off its built-in speaker. While “faster” isn’t something we often think of with item trackers, it’s a quality-of-life feature that can really go a long way in improving the experience.
Beyond that, KeySmart SmartCard Pro also features a 350 mAh battery and 30% better power efficiency, combining to let the tracker hit 24 months – 2 years – of battery life. And that’s while still supporting Qi wireless recharging. Often, other trackers will deliver longer battery life at the expense of easy recharging, so this is a nice thing to see.
The whole tracker is wrapped up in a transparent casing and an aluminum frame.
KeySmart SmartCard Pro is available starting today for $49.99.
