According to a new report, Samsung could end up raising prices on its Galaxy phones as soon as next month.
Amid the ongoing RAM shortages and ever-rising costs, smartphone prices have been going up in certain regions. For some brands, it’s mainly been focused on lower-end devices or certain storage configurations. According to a new report, that could happen to more Galaxy phones in some regions, with Samsung planning imminent price hikes.
Greek publication Techmaniacs reports (via GSMArena) that Samsung will be raising the prices of “several devices” in the Galaxy lineup in June including the “entire” Galaxy S lineup (presumably including Galaxy S26) as well as Fold 7, Flip 7, and FE models.
Price hikes would be “ranging from €100 to close to €200” (translated).
Samsung has largely kept its price hikes out of mainstream flagships, though we did find not long ago that Samsung raised the price of certain Galaxy Z Fold 7 storage configurations. So a price hike that not only affects its flagship devices, but even its latest release is quite notable.
It’s unclear where these price hikes might be felt, but this report claims the revised pricing will take effect in Greece as soon as the first week of June – next week.
