It isn’t finding a Pixel Watch 5 in the ocean, but certifications are fun, too!
Certification listings from India’s BIS agency detail Google’s upcoming Pixel Watch 5 in some capacity (via GSMArena). The licensing listings don’t divulge specifications beyond a few model names:
- G0F3Y
- G1XJ6
- G25QD
- GFW3R

The identifiers likely refer to two expected sizes – 41mm and 45mm. Further, each size variant is expected to get a Wi-Fi-only model and a cellular version. That build has been a staple of Google’s smartwatches for some time, unlike Samsung, which has found success in offering several models within the same release window.
Outside of virtual sightings, the Pixel Watch 5 was reportedly seen off the coast of St. Martin. Images were posted behind the well-known Gearbox head, Randy Pitchford. The Pixel Watch 5 images seem to be legitimate, and if they are, they showcase a design that’s nearly identical to the previous version.
Google is expected to announce the Pixel Watch 5 later this year. It’s possible the model will carry Snapdragon Wear Elite, but there’s nothing set in stone quite yet.
