Samsung is preparing Android 17 updates for these Galaxy devices

Android 17 made its debut on Google Pixel devices this month, but Samsung is already at work bringing the update to Galaxy devices. The list of devices in preparation has been expanding, too.

Samsung released its first Android 17 beta build in May. The One UI 9 beta is currently only on the Galaxy S26 series, and is expected to run for at least another month or so. One UI 9 is likely to make its debut on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Flip 8 which are rumored to launch in late July, but there’s no strict timeline for when stable One UI 9 updates may land.

But, clearly, Samsung isn’t wasting too much time.

As SammyGuru notes, there are a lot of One UI 9 builds in the worlds for a variety of Galaxy devices. This includes some unreleased devices as well as the Galaxy S26 lineup, but also devices ranging back to the Galaxy S24 series, and even some mid-range Galaxy A devices too.
