Roku is expanding its first-party TV lineup with new OLED models that start at $999.
The new Roku Pro Series OLED TV and Roku Pro Series LX OLED TV are just what the names imply – first-party television sets from Roku that use OLED panels. That means getting deeper blacks and more vibrant colors, while also seeing benefits like wider viewing angles.
Roku explains:
Ultra-wide viewing angles give everyone a great sight line, while OLED technology delivers vibrant color and blacks that are truly black. From shadowy thrillers to bright animated favorites, scenes feel deeper, richer, and more immersive. To make it even better, there’s no need to worry about adjusting picture settings before pressing play. Roku Smart Picture Max automatically tunes the TV to suit what you’re watching, so every show, movie, game, and live event is optimized without any extra work from you.
The company also touts “an ultra-thin profile and slim metal bezel” for the hardware, as well as built-in cable management on the back of the TV. There’s also an “Automatic Game Mode” for consoles to improve input lag and other factors, which should pair nicely with the 144Hz refresh rate. The included remote has backlit buttons, customizable shortcuts, and a Bluetooth headphone mode, as well as a remote finder feature.
The base Roku Pro Series OLED TV starts at $999 for a 55-inch model, while a 65-inch model is also available. Both can be purchased starting today only on Amazon. The LX models, meanwhile, are coming in October from $1,299.
