Samsung is officially rolling out a price hike for the Galaxy S26 series, raising prices by $100 across the lineup.
Effective immediately, the entire Galaxy S26 series is now $100 more expensive. Samsung had already raised prices on the base Galaxy S26 and the Galaxy S26+ compared to last year’s models, while the Ultra remained unchanged until now.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra’s 1TB version sees the biggest price hike from $1,799 to $1,999.
The updated prices are already in place at Samsung.com, though third-party retailers such as Amazon and Best Buy have yet to update, though that’s likely only a matter of time.
Price updates are as follows:
| 256GB | 512GB | 1TB | |
| Galaxy S26 | $899 > $999 | $1,099 > $1,199 | N/A |
| Galaxy S26+ | $1,099 > $1,199 | $1,299 > $1,399 | N/A |
| Galaxy S26 Ultra | $1,299 > $1,399 | $1,499 > $1,599 | $1,799 > $1,999 |
The Galaxy S26 FE, which just launched in August, does not appear to be going up in price at this time, with Samsung having already increased the price by $50 over the prior generation. Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Samsung’s other foldables are also not seeing higher prices.
While Samsung hasn’t issued a reason for the price hike, the rising cost of memory and other components is surely to blame – thanks RAMageddon (and all the AI).
