Google has quietly raised the price of its mid-range Pixel 10a by $100, giving the device a starting price of $599.
Effective as of today at the Google Store, Pixel 10a has jumped from $499 to $599. The reason is obvious, of course, with the current skyrocketing costs of components such as memory. Google has not officially commented on the price hike yet, though.
This follows Google issuing a price increase to each of its new Pixel 11 devices compared to the prior generation.
When Google confirmed the Pixel 11 would be more expensive, the company said that this would eventually impact “in-market Pixel phones” which, at the time, we speculated could include Pixel 10a.
The 128GB base Pixel 10a is $599 as of today, with the 256GB model at $699. The updated prices have already kicked in at Amazon and Best Buy, and Google Store now shows Pixel 10a at $849 in Canada, £599 in the UK, and €649 in Europe.

Difficult to swallow.
However, this could be fine IF it means the 11a will come at the same $599 price and with Tensor G6 and PixelSnap magnets.
Hopefully street price for those wanting to buy a 10a soon won't change much.
In our review of Pixel 10a, we called the device a “well-rounded experience” for its $499 price, but a $100 jump certainly makes that a tougher conversation, especially considering Google’s mid-ranger is at this point using a two-generation-old chipset in its Tensor G4. But, of course, Google is far from alone here. Just this week, Samsung also issued price hikes across the Galaxy lineup including flagship and mid-range devices alike.
AI is just great isn’t it?
