Google officially teases Fitbit Edge tracker, confirms October 12 launch

Google has dropped an official teaser for its Fitbit Edge tracker and confirmed an October 12 launch, just a few days away.

In a brief post on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram) Google simply says:

Get an Edge on your health. 10.12.2026.

It’s simple and to the point, and says a lot while not saying much at all. The teaser confirms the “Edge” branding of the new tracker, which is said to follow the Air in Fitbit hardware lineup. The Fitbit Edge is then confirmed to launch on October 12, this coming Monday.

Google’s teaser image just barely hints at the display we’ve seen in leaks, while also confirming that the company’s “Canyon” color scheme will continue through from the Pixel Watch 5. It’s also obvious that the Edge has a metal chassis.

Other leaks have detailed 7-day battery life, Gemini integration, iPhone support, and more for the upcoming Fitbit Edge. Pricing is expected to be around $180 — not too far above the screen-less Fitbit Air, but well below the Pixel Watch 5’s $400 entry price.

Are you planning to buy an Edge?
