According to a new report, the One UI 7.0 beta could come as early as next week and bring a slew of new functions to Samsung Galaxy phones.
While we’ve already seen Google and OnePlus begin rolling out their own stable Android 15 releases, Samsung delayed the launch of One UI 7.0 for the Galaxy phone portfolio. We’ve seen numerous leaks and reports uncover some of the supposed changes and features, but we’re still in the dark as to when it will come – or so it seems.
Known Samsung leaker @UniverseIce originally stated that the One UI 7.0 beat was “another half month” away, but they have revised that claim to state that the beta program could start as early as “next week” in the United States and South Korea. Previous leaks of the support page for the S23 and S24 series hint that these will be first in line for the beta, but we know that the Samsung developer conference in Korea starts on November 21. We could learn more then, but at this stage, it’s still unclear.
Android 15 for Samsung phones could provide a number of substantial changes to One UI 7.0. This beta is shaping up nicely, and other leaks indicate that Samsung is going to lean even further into the AI feature set. That said, some visual enhancements are also said to be coming, including new home screen icons, an enhanced Quick Settings panel, and even an active panel that reminds us of the Dynamic Island activities but in a bottom-screen position.
Despite the extensive delay, we’re excited to see what Samsung has in store for the One UI 7.0 beta—especially if it arrives within the next week or so.
