Lenovo Legion Tab is now $429, lowest price yet as competition looms

Lenovo has just dropped its Legion Tab gaming tablet to its lowest price to date as new competition for small but powerful Android tablets nears.

Through the Lenovo store, the Legion Tab is currently discounted to $429. That’s down from the usual retail price of $549, and the lowest price we’ve seen on the tablet to date.

Legion Tab is one of a very few tablets with a small display, but powerful specs for Android. The tablet packs Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 12GB of RAM, a 165Hz display, and even got an Android 15 update recently. It’s meant for gamers but, as we detailed in our review, it also serves as a good Android-powered alternative to Apple’s iPad Mini.

This comes right as Lenovo is getting some competition for this tablet. Redmagic is about to launch Astra, its own compact gaming tablet, globally with the same $549 price tag, but some key improvements. Where Lenovo lacks an OLED display and any form of secure biometrics, Redmagic offers both. Astra is set to launch on July 10, and we’ve got a review of that tablet coming soon.
