Samsung hikes Galaxy Book 6 prices by up to $600 as base model goes on sale

Samsung has finally released its base Galaxy Book 6 in the US while also delivering a price hike across the entire lineup.

The Galaxy Book 6 series, Samsung’s lineup of Windows laptops, was first announced earlier this year with pricing that was supposed to start at $1,049. The company launched the Galaxy Book 6 Pro and Ultra in March, and has now added the base model to the mix.

The base Galaxy Book 6 is available in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes, powered by either the Intel Core Ultra 5 325 or Core Ultra 7 355. Storage lands at either 512GB or 1TB, with 16GB of RAM across all configurations.

Pricing starts at $1,249, which is $200 up from the original $1,049 starting price.
