Multiview is one of the best features to launch on YouTube TV for some time, but it’s always been restricted to certain channels. As previously teased, that’s finally changing.
YouTube confirmed back in January that Multiview on YouTube TV would become “fully customizable,” opening the door to viewers picking any assortment of channels they wish. Since launch, Multiview has largely been used only for sports, offering just a specific selection of channels.
This appears to now be rolling out.
YouTube TV subscribers on Reddit noticed that they’re able to use “all channels” in Multiview, with sections for “Recommended,” “Sports,” “News,” “Movies,” and “Shows.” Some users shared photos of the updated layout:

This doesn’t seem to have rolled out widely to all subscribers, but it’s showing up for quite a few folks. We’re not yet seeing the option on our end.
You can access Multiview by pressing down on your remote and tapping “Multiview,” at which point you can select other live content to add to the grid.
