The Oura Ring 5 picture is becoming clearer as new leaks appear, with details about the health-tracking ring.
Thanks to a WinFuture report, marketing images of the Oura Ring 5 are available. The leak shows off the Orua ring 5’s slightly different sensor design. The LED sensors have a slight bump with a square profile, unlike the Ring 4’s nearly flush receptors. The outside surface of the ring looks nearly identical, coming in several material versions:
- Brushed Silver
- Deep Rose
- Stealth
- Silver
- Gold
- Black

The marketing images tout the Oura Ring 5 as the “world’s smallest smart ring,” which could indicate Oura is able to shrink down the ring’s profile and trim some of the battery and internal bulk. That’d be a welcome change mad even better by the ring’s new supposed battery life.
Oura also seems to claim the ring can handle a week of usage. The Oura Ring 4 generally allowed for 5 or 6 days of full usage without a charge. If a full week is on the table with the Oura Ring 5, it would be a massive improvement.
The Ring 4 didn’t exactly meet battery life expectations, so it remains to be seen whether the Oura Ring 5 will actually net a full week of use.
The leak indicates that Oura’s Ring 5 will cost €429 at the cheapest, with some models asking a higher price. That’s an increase of €30 in Europe, but there seems to be little information on pricing in the US. Even with that increase, it seems Oura is sticking to the $6/month subscription. If Oura users have to obtain a subscription, at least it seems the company isn’t increasing the monthly cost on top of a more expensive ring.
Oura isn’t the only company to develop smart rings. Samsung and others have products on the market, and while generally good, Oura seems to be the best option available for most users. The Oura Ring 5 should be an exciting upgrade, but hopefully, there’s more to the story than a better battery.
