Pebble Round 2 starts shipping in July

The Pebble Round 2 smartwatch is set to start shipping soon, not long after Pebble Time 2 has become widely available to those who ordered.

Pebble – yes, that Pebble – announced the Pebble Round 2 back in January as a revival of the thin and lightweight smartwatch for a new era, with updated hardware, smaller bezels, and improvements across the board. Put simply, it looks great.

Confirmed by founder Eric Migicovsky this week, Pebble Round 2 is set to start shipping in July.

Those who pre-order the Pebble Round 2 will start getting their smartwatches as soon as July, with “all” pre-orders shipping by September. Buyers can include black or brown leather straps.

Pebble explains:

• On track to start shipping Pebble Round 2 watches in July – Current plan is to be finished shipping out all preordered PR2 in September
• Beautiful black or brown leather straps will be available to add

This comes as Pebble Time 2 orders have widely shipped, with most customers who ordered the smartwatch now having their device delivered in the mail.

Pebble Index, on the other hand, still has no firm timeline.
