Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra gets a couple of unique colors as more details leak

It will be interesting to see what Samsung plans to offer to differentiate the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. The latest concrete difference comes in half of the color offerings Samsung plans to produce for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series.

The latest Galaxy Z Fold 8 leaks don’t concern internal hardware or major performance characteristics. Rather, it’s all about color.

According to a leak via Digital Citizen – this isn’t a publication with a known track record, so take this all with a grain of salt – all of Samsung’s upcoming foldable releases will have at least two colorways in common. The Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Z Flip 8 will come in both Cream and Graphite colors, providing something of a baseline for most users.

Each device will apparently also get its own two colors. The shorter and wider Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to come in Lavender and Pistachio. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra may look a little more professional with a Green Shadow and Violet Shadow colorway on the horizon.

As for the Galaxy Z Flip 8, the leak suggests we’re getting additional Mint and Pink options.

The colors break down like so:

Galaxy Z Flip 8

  • Cream
  • Graphite
  • Mint
  • Pink

Galaxy Z Fold 8

  • Cream
  • Graphite
  • Lavender
  • Pistachio

Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra

  • Cream
  • Graphite
  • Green Shadow
  • Violet Shadow

We don’t know what these Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Flip 8 colors look like, or whether the information at hand can be verified. Much of the information surrounding these devices seems to be in short supply.

The leak also notes all three devices will start at 256GB with a 512GB variant available. Only the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Fold 8 Ultra will get a 1TB option.

So far, we know the Galaxy Z Fold 8 will be a shorter, wider version of Samsung’s most recent foldable, and the Z Fold 8 Ultra will take on the same profile as the Galaxy Z Fold 7. It will be the most recognizable, though likely more expensive and with better hardware.

All three devices are expected to launch at Samsung’s next Unpacked event in the next couple of months.
