Samsung’s next pair of Galaxy Buds show off open-ear design in another leak [Gallery]

Rumored for months, Samsung’s “Galaxy Buds On” have shown up yet again with an open-ear design, but the bigger question at this point is when they’ll actually debut.

The folks over at SamMobile uncovered some new images depicting Samsung’s upcoming open-ear Galaxy Buds. The source isn’t totally clear, it’s mentioned to be a Samsung app of some kind. It’s perhaps the best look we’ve had at the design, with previous icon leaks leaving much more to the imagination.

The new images show the earbuds with some sort of green or gray accent – it’s unclear if they’ll have lights – as well as a case that looks very similar to the one used by Galaxy Buds 4 Pro.

These earbuds are expected to function much like similarly designed earbuds from Motorola, Bose, and others, and could be called “Galaxy Buds Able” or “Galaxy Buds On,” the latter being the most recent to leak.

As for when these might debut, it’s a bit surprising that Samsung didn’t launch them alongside its new foldables and watches at Unpacked this month. With that in mind, the next obvious launchpad is IFA in September, where we’re already expecting Galaxy S26 FE and, possibly, new tablets.
