Samsung reportedly bringing this major redesign back from the dead with Galaxy S27 [Gallery]

According to new leaks, Samsung is planning to revive a lost redesign with its Galaxy S27 series, but details are light.

Leakers Ice Universe, Sonny Dickson, and Max Jambor all corroborate that the Galaxy S27 series – apparently, specifically the Galaxy S27 Ultra – will adopt a camera bar design that was previously leaked as being in the works for the since-canceled Galaxy S26 Edge.

The new design might only come to the Ultra, though, as Ice Universe shared images of both a new design and one that’s virtually unchanged from the Galaxy S26 series.

Sonny Dickson, though, says that this design will come in “two different sizes,” seemingly hinting at the device otherwise known as the “Galaxy S27 Pro.”

The new design has two camera lenses off to the left side, a pill that would seemingly contain a third camera lens – rumor has it the Ultra will drop its secondary telephoto lens this year – and the flash. There’s a full plateau these cameras are a part of, which extends to both sides of the design similar to Apple’s design language on the iPhone 17 series.

Meanwhile, on Telegram, The Cipher Project claims that the Galaxy S27 series will come in black, white, blue, purple, and pink colorways, with these colors found across the entire lineup.

Galaxy S27 is expected to launch early next year – what do you think of this new look?
