Google TV Streamer gets $50 price increase

Google has quietly raised the price of the Google TV Streamer to $149.99.

This $50 increase is quite drastic for the 2024 Google TV device that launched at $99.99 and saw $20 discounts during the holidays. This new price is already live on the Google Store and Best Buy, but other retailers (like Amazon) are still selling it at the original price as of Monday afternoon.

This increase is presumably due to RAM pricing, with the Pixel 11 series and Pixel Watch 5 already reflecting this new reality. The Google TV Streamer has 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage.

The Google Home Speaker remains priced at $99.99, with the company presumably already factoring in the component increases during the June launch. However, various Nest Cams get price increases today.
