Samsung’s Android 17-based One UI 9 update continues to pick up steam, with several more Galaxy devices joining the fray.
One UI 9 isn’t a major update, but the yearly Android OS upgrade is welcome by all and is quickly expanding to more and more devices. As of last week, around a dozen Galaxy devices had been updated, and now eight more are seeing stable updates roll out.
This includes Samsung’s 2023 releases in the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy Z Fold 5, as well as a few Galaxy A series devices. The latest batch includes:
- Galaxy S23
- Galaxy S23+
- Galaxy S23 Ultra
- Galaxy Z Fold 5
- Galaxy Z Flip 5
- Galaxy A56
- Galaxy A36
- Galaxy A27
As per usual, though, these updates are available first in South Korea, SamMobile details. For the Galaxy S23 series that starts with those previously enrolled in the beta program, but it varies from device to device. This is only the start, though, with Samsung usually expanding the update to other regions and a broader group of users within a day or two.
