Tired of waiting? UK residents can get their hands on the LG G Watch shipped today

Android Wear got its big announcement at Google I/O last week, and the Mountain View company opened up orders for both the LG G Watch and the Samsung Gear Live on the same day. But unfortunately both US and UK residents have been left anxious with ship dates not coming until later this week. Luckily for those in the UK and wanting to get their hands on the G Watch, there seems to be a way to have the device dispatched a few days early.

While the Play Store is currently quoting UK users a “leaves warehouse by” date of June 4th (one day following the quoted date of the 3rd on the other side of the Atlantic), a popular UK gadget online store by the name of MobileFun is touting a ship date of today if you order by 6 PM. Of course, if you already have an order on Google Play it’s probably not worth the trouble to switch it to MobileFun. After all, Google’s quoted to be “by” the 4th, meaning your device could very well ship before then…

As you can see in the screenshot above, it’s going to be a few more days before those who have placed G Watch orders on the UK Play Store will see their device shipped — but what might make the above offer from MobileFun even more enticing is that some are reporting that their “leaves warehouse by” date has slipped all the way to the 7th.
