Cyanogen OS is the popular operating system from the team behind CyanogenMod that ships on devices such as the OnePlus One and Wiley Fox. Cyanogen OS offers a handful of features that its aftermarket CyanogenMod ROM solution doesn’t, in large part to make the OS more consumer friendly. Today, however, Cyanogen announced that it is making the added features of Cyanogen OS available as a separate download for users not running the operating system.

In a blog post, Cyanogen revealed that it is releasing the Cyanogen Apps Package, referred to as C-Apps. This package includes the apps and features from Cyanogen OS and makes them available for existing devices running CM 12.1.

The C-Apps package includes the following features from the Cyanogen OS:

  • Theme Chooser with per-app theming
  • Theme Store
  • AudioFX
  • Cyanogen Accounts
  • Gallery
  • Dialer with TrueCaller integration
  • Email powered by Boxer

Previously, these features were available only to devices running Cyanogen OS, like the OnePlus One, WileyFox, ZUK Z1, Andromax Q, and YU branded devices. If you’re using a device running CyanogenMod 12.1, you can download and install the C-Apps package and access the features with the link in this blog post.
