Sony Mobile Communications and the band Metric released a music video for the song “Synthetica” completely shot with AT&T’s exclusive Android-powered Xperia ion smartphone.
“The music video features a rare acoustic performance of the song ‘Synthetica’ shot live at Hotel on Rivington’s penthouse in New York City,” announced Sony in a press release. “Audience members were given Xperia ion smartphones and were encouraged to unleash their creativity as they filmed the performance.”
Chris Lenox Smith directed the high-definition video, which is posted on Metric’s YouTube channel, as well as behind-the-scenes footage found on Sony’s Mobile US YouTube channel.
The Xperia ion is available at AT&T for $99.99 with a new two-year agreement.
