Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 LTE arrives July 23 on T-Mobile for $385, preorders July 16

Following the WiFi-only model launch of its new Galaxy Tab 4 series in May, T-Mobile announced today that the LTE version of the 8-inch model will arrive on July 23. Previously Samsung said that LTE models of the device would become available through US carriers this summer. 

T-Mobile US, Inc.  today announced preregistration is open for the Samsung Galaxy Tab® 4 8.0, an affordable new family-friendly tablet, which – through the Un-carrier’s Tablet Freedom program – can be added to your existing Simple Choice Plan at no additional cost with nearly 1.2 GB of free LTE data every month through the end of 2014 and 200MB of free data per month beyond that for the life of your tablet.

The tablet will sell for $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $16 bringing the total cost up to $384. You’ll also be able to take advantage of the carrier’s Tablet Freedom program and add it to an existing Simple Choice Plan at no cost with roughly 1.2 GB of free LTE for the rest of the year.

T-Mobile will officially begin selling the device through its stores nationwide on July 23, but preorders will kick off the week before on July 17.
