More Samsung Galaxy Alpha details leak ahead of official announcement

We’ve already seen a few leaks of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Alpha device that will reportedly be one of the first to feature metal in place of the all plastic designs the company is known for. Today we get a look at specs for the device from what appears to be a leaked slide from a presentation by the company via SamMobile.

According to the image, you can expect the Galaxy Alpha to sport a 4.7-inch 1080×720 pixel resolution display, 32GB storage with expansion via microSD, USB 3, Bluetooth 4, 2GB RAM, heart rate monitor, fingerprint scanner, a 12 megapixel main camera (2.1 mp on front), and a 1860mAh battery.

The report also adds a few more details from the source that provided the image. The device will reportedly run on Samsung’s own octa-core Exynos processor and offer a 64GB model. There’s no confirmation yet from Samsung, but rumours say we could see the device announced as early as this month or early next.
