After months of bad marketing gimmicks and tiresome invitation only purchase options, the OnePlus One may finally be having an official launch in October. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer recently shared its plans during a Reddit Ask Me Anything, revealing that it was working on a pre-order system for September, but it had ran into some delays and now October is its target release month.
Although the OnePlus One is a great device, it’s really starting to lose momentum. IFA is less than a week away and with several new high-end smartphones expected to be announced, the self-proclaimed “flagship killer” might not look as appealing if it had more of a traditional launch a few months ago.
