LG G3

Today, LG launched a promo that gives new G3 customers an extra battery and a battery-charging cradle with the purchase of the company’s latest flagship smartphone. People who pick up a G3 in the US between now and September 22nd can register at a special website to receive these accessories by submitting their phone’s IEMI number, along with proof of purchase.

The company says it’ll take around four to six weeks for the battery and cradle to arrive, however considering that it’s offering $70 worth of free gear, we still consider this promo worthwhile. Although it’s a few months old now, the G3 is one of the best smartphones that we’ve seen this year ( our review) and the addition of an extra battery just might give the handset enough juice to remain relevant, despite the fast approaching wave of powerful new smartphones.
