Here’s a look at the alleged Galaxy Grand Prime, Samsung’s ‘selfie’ phone

Samsung-Selfie-Phone

Alleged details about an unannounced Samsung mid-range smartphone have surfaced on a Vietnamese website, revealing what’s being referred to as the Galaxy Grand Prime. Despite its vigorous moniker, this modest handset will reportedly skip over tech enthusiasts, in favor of casual shutterbugs.

Referred to as Samsung’s “selfie” phone, the device is rumored to feature a 5-inch display, a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage space. Definitely not much to sing about, the Galaxy Grand Prime’s cameras appear to be the only interesting talking points on the phone’s spec sheet. Samsung’s selfie-centric smartphone is said to pack an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, backed by a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter.

Price and availability are unknown at this time, however if Samsung is cashing in on the internet’s selfie trend, it’ll have some competition along the way.
