This is the best deal you can get on Google Pixel 11, with gift cards, free watches, and more

Google’s new Pixel 11 series seems really promising, but they’re also all $100 more expensive across the board than last generation. Luckily, if you’re already sold from our various hands-ons, there are a ton of surprisingly excellent pre-order deals and trade-in valuations you can take advantage of to bring that price tag down — and frankly, no one has Amazon beat.

Just like with the recent Galaxy Z Fold 8 launch, Amazon has the entire Pixel 11 series bundled with “free” Amazon gift cards. While I’m sure most of us would prefer proper discounts — or even a true mail-in rebate, if you remember those — Amazon gift cards aren’t too far off from just being gifted straight-up cash, especially if you put it towards something you were already planning to buy. Here’s the breakdown for each phone’s gift card denomination:

Honestly, just on their own, those are great prices! The base Pixel 11 effectively drops back down to the Pixel 10’s MSRP — with the 256GB configuration that should’ve been the default last year — while all three Pro-branded models more than make up for their respective RAM-induced hikes. It’s not, however, the only way to save money on Google’s new phones at Amazon, nor is it the only deal you can pick from.

The Pixel 11 Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold also have bundles with both the 41mm and 45mm Pixel Watch 5. If you were planning on picking up a new wearable with your phone, this might be an even better offer, though it doesn’t save much more cash upfront. The two non-folding phones both take $200 total off the bundled price — the exact same amount as the gift card option — while the Pro Fold gives shoppers a $400 total discount. Just select whichever of these offers sounds best to your needs; you really can’t lose.

Finally, Amazon’s trade-in valuations are pretty solid. They appear to be identical across models, with supported brands including Apple, Motorola, Samsung, OnePlus, and of course, Google. There are, quite simply, way too many devices to list here, so I’d urge you to browse the store and see what kind of valuation Amazon’s willing to offer. These rates all appear elevated; for example, trading a Galaxy S24+ in for a Pixel 11 earned me $255 plus an additional $100, while swapping a Pixel 9 for the Pixel 11 Pro scored me $240 plus an extra $175.

Now, a few catches, for both the bundles and the trade-ins. First, these are the offers on the table regardless of which storage configuration you’re choosing. Whether you want the base Pixel 11 Pro XL or the 1TB model, you’re getting a $200 gift card (or smartwatch) with your purchase. Second, Amazon does have phone-only listings up on the site right now. They share product pages, since these are limited-time bundles, but if you’re pre-ordering, you’ll want to make sure you select your freebie of choice before adding to cart. Finally, this is a physical gift card, so you’ll need to wait for it to be delivered. That said, it does appear that Amazon is shipping these out ahead of next week’s Pixel availability.

On the trade-in side, it appears Amazon isn’t allowing trade-ins when purchasing the gift card bundles, but will allow for both deals if you pick the Pixel Watch bundle. The exception to this rule is the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, which appears to accept trade-ins no matter which bundle you pick to add to your cart. Confusing? Yes! Sensible? Not really! Still a pretty great deal all things considered? Absolutely.

I’m not seeing a definitive end date on Amazon’s storefront for when these bundles will end, but it’s safe to assume these are pre-order bonuses only. Google’s latest slate of phones hit store shelves on August 20th. And hey, if you’d rather buy from Google or Best Buy, check out the links below.
