Google posts Android 5.0 Lollipop factory images for Nexus 5, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10

Just a short while after announcing the Android 5.0 Lollipop over-the-air update for Nexus devices, Google has now posted the factory images for the Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2012 and 2013 WiFi-only models), and Nexus 10.

The files are available for download now from Google’s developer site. It’s important to note that the Nexus 4 and cellular Nexus 7 models are still supposed to get Lollipop, even though the files are not yet available. For those unfamiliar, these factory images will allow you to install Android 5.0 Lollipop without waiting for the over the air update to hit your device.

Earlier this month, Google made the Android 5.0 Lollipop factory images available for the Nexus 9 and Nexus Player. All we’re waiting on now is the Nexus 4 and cellular Nexus 7 files, which we’d expect to come sooner rather than later. We’ll have a full guide on how to update your device with the factory images later this evening.
