Samsung reportedly showing Galaxy S6 to select partners at CES 2015

Samsung’s Galaxy Note Edge

According to a new report out of the usually-reliable SamMobile, Samsung will have its latest Galaxy S6 flagship on display at CES 2015 this week. Unfortunately, however, the device will not be showed to consumers, but rather only to select partners. Presumably, those partners include carriers and accessory makers.

Samsung will also have a variant to the Galaxy S6 on display to select partners at CES 2015. Some rumors speculate that the Galaxy S6 variant Samsung is working on is the Galaxy S6 Edge. Samsung   launched the Galaxy Note Edge last year to mixed reviews from critics. Perhaps applying the Edge concept to a smaller device will make it appeal more to consumers.

The Galaxy S6 is expected to feature an all new design, a qHD Super AMOLED display, Android 5.0 Lollipop with TouchWiz, either an Exynos 7420 or a Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. As far as the camera goes, variants have leaked with both a 16MP and 20MP camera, so we’ll have to wait for Samsung to confirm that information.

Samsung announced the Galaxy S5 last February at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, so we would expect it to do the same this year.
