Earlier this year, it was reported that Samsung was working on a fully rounded smartwatch for launch sometime in 2015. At the time, details were sparse, but now SamMobile has shared another report with more details of the company’s device. According to SamMobile, Samsung’s rounded smartwatch will be called the Gear A and feature support for 3G data and calling.

The Gear A will reportedly launch in two different variants, one with standard Bluetooth connectivity and one with 3G data and calling support. Both models will also support WiFi connectivity. As far as pricing goes, Samsung’s Gear S smartwatch with cellular connectivity launched at $350, and it’s being speculated that the Gear A will be in that same general vicinity at launch. The Gear A reportedly runs on Samsung’s Tizen operating system, not Android Wear. Although it should still be fully functional with Android smartphones.

Samsung faces heavy competition right now in the smartwatch market with the Apple Watch about to go on sale. Motorola and LG have, of course, already launched their own respective rounded smartwatches. Motorola is also currently developing a successor to the Moto 360 for a launch later this year. Samsung obtained three patents for smartwatches with a rounded design last year, which lends credibility to this report.
