Google has pushed out version 42 of its Chrome browser for Android. Like the desktop counterpart that debuted yesterday, Chrome 42 for Android introduces support for push notifications from websites, allowing you to keep up with changes to your favorite sites without having to constantly check back.
The updated web browser also includes improvements to its “add to home screen” feature that make it faster and easier to pin pages to your phone’s main menu. Bug fixes and other miscellaneous tweaks round out the change log for this version.
You can grab the free Chrome 42 update for Android from the Google Play Store as it rolls out over the next few days.
