Google has today updated the Google I/O 2015 website with a bunch of really useful information. As of right now, you can view the entire schedule of events and sessions for I/O 2015, set up your own personal schedule for the event, get reminders for when sessions are happening, and more…
You can head over to the Schedule page to peruse the various sessions and start deciding which ones you’ll be attending—because you most certainly can’t attend all of them. Scheduled sessions are about what you would expect, with nothing too shocking standing out to us. There’s everything from “Gaming on Android TV” to a “Google Classroom Demo” to—what we’re excited about—an overview of “What’s new in Android.”
As was announced back in February, Google I/O 2015 is taking place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco California between May 28th and 30th. We’ll be there in the flesh to keep you updated on all the latest developments. (Hangouts update, please?) Notably, there aren’t any Google Glass-related sessions. Sigh…
Update: There’s a mention of Android M in the Android for Work Update session description (What do you think it will stand for?):
Android M is bringing the power of Android to all kinds of workplaces. This opens huge new markets for hundreds of millions of devices to workers at small business, deskless workers, logistics and warehousing jobs; all be empowered by adoption of Android devices at Work (Note: This Sandbox talk will be offered twice throughout the event. Check the schedule to confirm timings.)
